The worlds most iconic muscle car is undeniably the Ford Mustang. It has been the peoples choice for decades and boasts a bold name, a bold design, and guaranteed envious looks from passersby. The pony car may not work here in the UK on the grounds of it being too big, too fuel consuming and a little too ostentatious for the British public, but it doesn’t stop us from wanting one. This is the 2013 Mustang.
The 2013 cars appearance has been sharpened with new design work on both the front and the rear. The deeper grill on its nose promotes the cars raw nature better than the more sedate 2012 model. LED lights are now branded on the Mustangs rear that has a much more prominent “chiseled jaw” look to it. Under the Bonnet the Mustang GT’s 5.0 litre V8 now produces 420BHP, up from 412 last year. An interesting new option is the “pony projection lights” that, when the car is unlocked, project the Mustang logo onto the floor below.
