The Bugatti Veyron is an astonishing engineering achievement. A car that can travel at excessive speeds, meet all of the legal requirements of a road car, and be used reliable every single day has never existed before this legend. However, the very last Bugatti Veyron rolled off of the production line earlier this year, bringing a close to this landmark chapter in automotive history. What is next for Bugatti? Something else that will set a new benchmark of course! Come on, you weren’t expecting a hatchback back were you? The 2016 Bugatti Veyron has been Spied.
Looking much more aggressive than its predecessor, the new Bugatti Veyron features a muscular stance and raked headlights. This image was taken at Los Angeles airport where the car is reportedly moving onward to a private viewing for potential owners. The 2016 model is unlikely to retain the Veyron name with “Chiron” being mentioned on a few occasions. Power will again come from an 8.0 litre turbocharged W16 engine, but a second much faster variation will pair that power with electric motors.
A teaser video has also been realised. The tension is rising, speculation if rife, and the spy photographers are twitching. We should see something official by 2016.
