If you live in the UK you will be well used to the “British summer.” For those who don’t live in this merry land it consist of rain, the promise of the hottest summer ever, a week of unbearable heat, then flooding just add insult to injury. This erratic weather pattern that we share doesn’t really help those with a convertible. Well, Aston Martin demands that the rain clouds had better buck their ideas up!

It has been expected since 2009, but now 3 years through the biblical Aston Martin V12 Vantage’s lifecycle we get the Roadster. The coupe is still one of this best automotive inventions tarmac has ever seen, but the notion of hearing that thundering V12 minus the roof is very tempting. Power is generated by the same mighty 6.0 litre V12 as the standard car and packs 510BHP. 0-62MPH is done and dusted within 4.5 seconds and the V12 Vantage Roader’s top speed is a towering 190MPH. Costing £150,000 the new car also features revisions to its suspension, rear diffuser and throttle response.
