It has been 50 years since the fabled name of Zagato worked with British legend Aston Martin to create the DB4 Zagato. Earlier this week we showed you the V12 Zagato, a collaboration between the two giants resulting in a stunning piece of engineering and design. It entered the Villa d’Este design show in Italy today and took top honors beating down the likes of the Ferrari Superamerica 45.
The victory was twice as sweet for Aston fans as the company confirmed a limited production run for the car. This well sculpted beauty with its V12 might is being handled by the same team who produced the 77 Aston Martin One-77 hyper-cars so expect standards to be as high as ever. Also Aston unveiled the GT3 variant of the Zagato that is to compete in this years 24 hours of “the green hell.”
