Aston Martin have become very well known for building some extremely beautiful cars over its 100 year+ history. However, every now and than something very special comes out of a longstanding collaboration with Italian design company Zagato. The DB4 Zagato of the early 60s is one of the most craved machines of today, and the last fruits of the British-Italian team are also highly sought after. Just heck out the price of a V12 Vantage Zagato! Now the focus has shifted onto the Vanquish and again the pair have delivered the goods. This beauty is the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept.
Set to debut at Villa d’Este concours d’elegance in Italy, this Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato is set to steal the show. Based upon the Vanquish, this extensively restyled car blends both aggression and elegance into a GT body. Clearly cars such as Vulcan, One-77, and V12 Vantage Zagato have had their influences. This concept also features the signature Zagato “double bubble” roof.
Power is sourced from the familiar 5.9 litre V12 engine, but output has been increased from 568 BHP to 591 BHP. No other performance figures have been released at this point in time. It is also said that the suspension has been reworked for sharper handling.
Let’s hope that this Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Concept finds its way into limited production!
