The first generation Audi R8 was a very well received car indeed. At first the notion of an Audi supercar seemed a bit fictional, but when it arrive it completely took its critics to school. Now the next generation R8 has arrived and, maybe unsurprisingly, has won over motoring journalists once again. However, it isn’t just on the road where the R8 is a winner… In the arena of motorsport it has also proven itself. To celebrate this there is a new limited edition model which looks rather special, although doesn’t posses the sexiest name. This is the Audi R8 V10 Plus Selection 24h.
Sporting a more subtle variant of Audi’s racing colours, the Audi R8 V10 Plus 24h certainly suits its new paint scheme. Gloss black, red accents, and some naked carbon fibre makes this look like one mean machine. Inside you will find the cars serial number on display as well as more carbon fibre and a smattering of obligatory limited edition logos.
Audi R8 V10 Plus Selection 24h retains the same mechanicals as the standard car meaning that it is equipped with a V10 engine producing 601 BHP and all wheel drive. It can get from 0-62 MPH in just 3.2 seconds and onto a top speed of 205 MPH.
Want one? You’ll have to be quick as just 24 will be produced for a yet to be specified price.
