Last month we brought you the sad news of yet another British manufacturers demise. Bristol, the company behind the elusive Fighter, had gone bust and was on its way into the pages of motoring history. Today however that company has been acquired by another that actually has links to the formation of Bristol 65 years ago. The future of the brand has been secured.
Kamkorp Autokraft take the keys to the British brand and aim to keep it a part of this nations heritage. “Mindful of Bristol Cars’ rich heritage and our responsibility as custodians of the brand, we are certain that our technology will blend seamlessly and successfully with the Bristol Cars tradition of engineering integrity.” Bristol could also be used to showcase its new parent companies range extending powertrains making for an interesting time ahead.
