“And now, the end is near; And so I face the final curtain…” The Bugatti Veyron is a beautiful example of what engineers can achieve given the resources they need. Built with the might of the Volkswagen group behind it, this car is a masterpiece. To achieve over 1001BHP and record breaking top speeds, whilst maintaining class leading luxury, has not been done by any other. It has always been said that just 450 Bugatti Veyron would be built and what we have is the very last in the series. Bugatti Veyron La Finale takes a bow at Geneva.
It is actually quite a sad moment for petrol heads of a certain generation as the Bugatti Veyron La Finale is the very last example of a machine that has become an icon. Finished in colours that reverse the first cars scheme, it looks the part. Coloured carbon fibre makes up the silhouette of this 1,184HP quad turbo W16 Grand Sport Vitesse. You will find La Finale badging all over including underneath the rear air brake. Inside crimson and cream leather line the cockpit. Each seat, fuel cap and wheel centres feature the Bugatti Elephant making this car even more symbolic. Mechanically identical to the standard 255MPH car, the value of this model will be far greater in years to come.
So that is it for the great car. Whilst this is goodbye for the Veyron, Bugatti have already said that they are hard at work on its successor which we will be seeing soon.
