The Vision Gran Turismo program is an intriguing one where manufactures are given the opportunity to produce concept cars for the PlayStation game Gran Turismo. As well as showing the public these designs, owners of the game get to drive them virtually. The latest car to be revealed is the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo and it gives us our best look at what the Veyron’s successor will look like.
Bugatti completed its production run of the Veyron earlier this year with car number 450 rolling off of the line. The next benchmark setter was already on the drawing boards years ago and Bugatti have already been showing potential customers prototypes of the car.
The Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo is a familiar shape to the Veyron, but sports much more aggressive bodywork. It is a racing car that celebrates the brands great victories in the Type 57. A huge rear wing, quad exhausts and intakes everywhere you look, it does make you think what a real modern-day Bugatti racing car would be like.
We expect to see the next Veyron surfacing soon with power coming from not only a huge turbocharged W16 engine, but also an electric motor. This car will join the latest hybrid hyper cars.
