The new Citroen DS3 is a fantastic car with brilliant urban driveability as well as those fantastic looks. Next WRC season Citroen are looking to inject a little bit of DS3 into the world of sideways stone skimming and mud plugging with the DS3 R3 rally car. It shares its good looks with the road variant and in our opinion is the best looking rally car in any class. But it’s not just about the architecture as before next season the DS3 R3 must prove itself as a worthy competitor.
A few weeks ago the car challenged a few Irish stages and preformed admirably on the cars first outing but it is in France where it has started a revolution. On only the cars seconds competitive race it has claimed victory in its class, become the fastest two-wheel-drive car competing and came 11th overall. A brilliant achievement for the French team and a very promising start to the DS3’s future career.
