The Citroen DS range has been enjoying a fruitful rebirth. The “goddess” sub-brand of the French company offers unique design and lavish interiors that have tempted many away from the well establish German rivals. We have tested all of the DS range; DS3, DS4, DS5 and have found each to be commendable. Next week the DS line will grow further with the unveiling of a DS5 LS.
According to Citroen’s Facebook page, on 19th December a new car will be revealed. The DS5 LS is to be a premium saloon that is bound for the Chinese market and potentially Europe. China is a growing market for all car manufacturers but Citroen now sell more cars there than in its home nation of France, previously its largest sales source. In China DS is marketed a separate brand to Citroen with manufacturing of some models taking place within the country.
