Ferrari’s special projects division is a unique opportunity for anyone, with the appropriate funds of course, to be a part of designing their bespoke supercar. The cost is vast, but what you have by the end is something that will become a part of the Italian stallion’s history. However, individuals have the choice not to publish news on their new pride and joy. So when a mystery Ferrari was spotted last week, the speculation began. At last we have official work on the Ferrari SP275 RW Competizione.
Catchy name right? Ok, so it doesn’t exactly roll off of the tongue but it certainly looks the part! Based upon the bonkers Ferrari F12TDF, it is powered by a 6.3 litre V12 of which sends power tot he rear wheels via a seven speed dual clutch gearbox. Whilst Ferrari haven’t published any performance figures, it will produce at least the same 770 BHP as the TDF.
The Ferrari SP275 RW Competizione bespoke bodywork is more elegant than the car on which is stems from. It is designed to reflect the classic 275 GT and with those louvers it does a damn fine job!
We will keep you updated if and when more details on the Ferrari SP275 RW Competizione are made available.
