Hyundai have unveiled the new generation i20 Coupe and for the first time they have made a three-door car that is significantly different from the five door variant. This new generation aims to attract attention from a younger audience. A vastly different profile in comparison to the five-door model gives the three door coupe a more meaningful and dynamic visual.
A different take on Hyundai’s characteristic grille is placed at the front of a new bumper. Imposing wheel arches, housing smart 17-inch alloy wheels, dominate the rear end of the i20 coupe and go on to another all new rear bumper. Despite these sporty attributes, the coupe still boasts 336-litres of boot space which is the best in its class.
Also new is an optional unique Tangerine Orange exterior colour with the option for a matching orange interior as well as other aesthetic changes such as a neat rear spoiler.
The engine choices offer a range of 75-100PS units coming in the form of both petrol and diesel. A new 1.4-litre ‘Kappa’ will be available from release day and a 1.0-litre turbocharged engine three-cylinder petrol engine will also be available later on in 2015.
