Have you seen it? What? You know what! The latest James Bond epic of course! Spectre hit the big screen last year marking Daniel Craig’s fourth appearance as the worlds greatest secret agent. With 007’s DB5 being destroyed in Skyfall, the man in the tux needed a new company car. Enter the Aston Martin DB10, one of the rarest cars in the world bespoke built for its roll in the film. Going head to head with a henchmans Jaguar C-X75, the British hero car joins a long line of Bond cars. Have you got over £1,000,000? Soon you could be the proud owner of an exceptionally rare car.
Just ten Aston Martin DB10 were built by the British company. Eight of them were modified, jumped, drifted, and crashed, to make the nighttime chase scene in Rome. Two perfect Aston Martin treasures were kept for static shots with Mr Craig and promotion. Whilst Paragon are keeping one, the other is going up for action.
That is right! The only DB10 that will be owned by the public will hit the block on 18th February at London Auction house of Christies. Powered by a 4.7 litre V8 engine and capable of over 190 MPH, this beautiful machine has also been signed by Daniel Craig himself. Expected to fetch over £1,000,000 on that Thursday, all proceeds will go to Médecins Sans Frontières who send medical care to where it is most needed in the world.
It is win-win for whoever has their hand in the air when the auctioneers hammer comes down as they will be helping make a difference whilst collecting quite the toy. The Aston Martin DB10 is a safe investment due to its rarity and provenance.
One thing is for sure… The new owner will be left feeling both shaken and stirred!
