Thanks to its big screen debut in the box office busting film “Furious 7” the Lykan HyperSport has become known outside of the small circle of people who can afford to buy one. Powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.7 litre flat-six engine, its makers claim it will do 0-62MPH in 2.8 seconds and go onto a top speed of 239MPH. This performance and unique styling will set you back about £2,000,000. Well, that would be if all seven were not already sold. One of these excessively rare machines has found its way into the hands of the Dhabi Police. Yes, that is right… A Lykan HyperSport police car!
The Lykan HyperSport police car is in good company as already on patrol is a Bugatti Veyron, Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari FF, Aston Martin One-77 and many more high-end supercars. The country does use these cars for police work but most of the time they linger around the capital for publicity. This Lykan is easily the rarest and most costly of the gang. Presented in a red and white livery and kitted out with emergency lights it does look rather menacing.
With 740HP there isn’t much that can outrun this Lykan HyperSport police car. Check out the video below.
