The Maserati GranTurnismo is a car that has aesthetics rated beyond gorgeous, it really is a looker. The Italian firm with over 100 years of history had done an exquisite job. However the car always was much more suited to its luxury cabrio model due to it being a good GT, but lacking the ability to keep up with more performance focused cars in its class. I mean how could it? Ferrari owns the company and building a car to compete with yourself is just not financially viable. Despite this a new variation of the GranTurismo has left the lion’s den and it’s called the MC Stradale.
Ok the name does make it sound like one of those blokes who talks over loud music “MC Stradale” but it has the potential to silence your laughter. This two seat variant is a much more adrenaline intensive animal than the standard car as Maserati says “The new Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale will be the fastest, lightest and most powerful car in the Maserati range when it goes on sale in the first quarter of 2011.” The car will have 450BHP and be able to reach speeds of over 180MPH.
We have nothing else on the car but Maserati will reveal all at Paris very soon.
