It appears that the more practical you make a car these days, the less attractive to the eye it must be. Generally people carriers are simply large featureless shapes, and estates are blank ovals. The van has always been a box and even something as practical as a train is a mere tube. Mazda are aiming to inject some flare into the estate segment with their all-new Mazda 6.
We all know the new 6 is a looker and so expected big things from the Kodo design language here. It hasn’t disappointed! What we have here, in my opinion, is the best looking estate car ever. The highly sculpted body produces a unique appearance and makes this machine much less likely to fade into a herd of parked cars. The estate comes with the same 2.0 litre petrol and 2.2 litre diesel engines packed with Mazda’s new SkyActiv fuel saving tech.
