Love it or hate it, the Nissan Juke really started something. Compact crossovers are everywhere and the little Japanese car with unique styling is still one of the most popular. Over the years other manufacturers have joined the party each creating their own high riding hatch. This segment is a safe bet and has even seen the likes of Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Audi give it a go. Mazda are up next with their Mazda CX-3 which will debut at the LA motor show.
Utilising Mazda’s Kodo “soul of motion” design language, the Mazda CX-3 will be unveiled at the last major motor show of this year. The crossover has been previewed in this design sketch which shows a highly sculpted body with flowing lines from nose to tail. An athletic stance which has been influenced by the Mazda 3 highlights the new direction Mazda design has taken. At this moment in time no further details are available.
Also coming to the LA motor show are updated versions of the Mazda 6 and CX-5 which will likely consist of economy improvements. The Mazda CX-3 will go on sale next year along with the all-new Mazda MX-5.
More details as and when they arrive.
