Part of producing a new car is that it must be extensively tested before it reaches production. These test mules are subjected to hell on Earth in scorching desert heat, freezing artic snow and even test by toddler which as we all know is the most destructive force on the planet. As well as being tested in extreme conditions they must also prove their worth in everyday scenarios enabling manufacturers to iron out any creases. A lot of cars spend their life on the motorway and that is exactly where we caught the all-new Ford KA testing.
Whilst enroot to another Ford event, completely by coincidence, we stumbled upon this hardly disguised little city car. Its compact shape and clear Ford designed features, such as the grill, gives it away as the brands new entry level model. An ovular grill and angled lights sit ahead of a shot bonnet whilst simplistic lines carry your eyes towards a neat rear end. Featuring five doors for the first time, previous incarnations only offered three, the car incorporates a nice design element in its double-bubble roof adding some character to this all-new Ford KA.
We expect to see the KA surface towards the end of this year, but for now take a look at our spy video.
