The Porsche 911 range is vast and offers a model for just about every walk of life. The sports car that has evolved over 50 plus years can be had as everything from an entry-level coupe to a convertible, and even a world beating supercar in Turbo S guise. At the 2017 Detroit Motor Show the family grows further with the revealing of new Porsche 911 GTS models.
GTS cars proved popular amongst enthusiasts as they offered all of the joy found in Carrera S models, but with added finesse. These new cars replace the 3.8 litre flat six with a 3.0 litre turbocharged unit. 444BHP and 405lb ft of torque is available in Carrera GTS, Carrera Cabriolet GTS, Carrera 4 GTS, Carrera 4 Cabriolet GTS, and Targa 4 GTS.
The fastest of the bunch is the Carrera 4 with its all wheel drive enabling 0-62 MPH in 3.6 seconds.
Porsche Active Suspension in each car lowers the ride hight by 10mm. A set of 20 inch centre locking alloy wheels come as standard. Also standard is the Sport Chrono Pack.
Pricing starts at £94,316 for the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS.
