The history of Rolls-Royce is one that fascinates people, particularly those not form the UK. All of the association with royalty and the obsession with only the best of everything being acceptable makes this brand one of the most iconic in the world. Goodwood is the home of Roll-Royce and the companies brand manager for Dubai felt is was time to produce a model to celebrate that fact.
This is the Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe Bespoke Chicane Edition, a one-off that celebrates the historic Goodwood motor circuit. Brand Manager for Dubai, Mohammed El-Arishy, inspired the design saying “I wanted to create a motor car that captures the unique atmosphere and history of the Goodwood motor circuit.” The car features a unique interior that replaces the traditional wood trim with carbon fibre. Power comes from the standard 6.75 litre V12 that will get the Chicane to 60MPH from standing in just 6.1 seconds.
Rolls-Royce have yet to say if they intend to put this car into production.
