Rolls-Royce has experienced exceptional success with their Wraith coupe, something which has become highly desirable amongst a younger audience. The British company aim to continue this momentum with a new model that will literally mark a new Dawn. Teaser images of a convertible Rolls-Royce on the same platform as the Wraith have been drip fed to the media, but now it is time… Ladies and gentlemen, this is the Rolls-Royce Dawn.
Taking its name from the brands history, the new Rolls-Royce Dawn is not simply a Wraith convertible. Revisions are extensive with both cars having different characters. Said to be a true four seater, the Dawn with its soft flowing lines and prominent grill looks beautiful. Roof up or down the design is modern but refined in a manor that is very Rolls-Royce. Speaking of refinement, this is the quietest convertible in the world. Seating four adults the interior is lavish with fine woods and exceptional leather upholstery forming a cabin befitting of the Sprit of Ecstasy herself.
Power comes from a 6.6 V12 with 563BHP. 0-62MPH takes 4.9 seconds and the Dawn will go onto an electronically limited top speed of 155MPH.
Deliveries begin early next year with prices starting close to £250,000.
