Both Mercs were very strong in China with their revolutionary take on DRS proving its worth down the longest straight on the calendar. Michael Schumacher finished 3rd fastest but is set to move up the grid. McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton was 2nd fastest, however, due to a change of gearbox will suffer a 5 place grid penalty.
