Rosberg Storms To Pole In Chinese F1 Qualifier


If you thought the last race in Malaysia turned things on its head, wait until you have seen these results. Mercedes pilot Nico Rosberg has stormed to pole for tomorrows race. Both Mercs were very strong in China with their revolutionary take on DRS proving its worth down the longest straight on the calendar. Michael Schumacher finished 3rd fastest but is set to move up the grid. McLaren’s Lewis Hamilton was 2nd fastest, however, due to a change of gearbox will suffer a 5 place grid penalty. His team mate, Jenson Button, only did one run in Q3 and as a result will start in 6th. Sauber’s Kobayashi took the 4th spot whilst Red Bull’s champion, Vettel, could only muster 11th.
