Rolls-Royce have unveiled their new special edition Wraith ‘Inspired By Music’, which offers the one of the most meticulously designed and developed audio systems available today. Following the launch of the Wraith in 2013, customers were able to commission their models with Bespoke Audio which, in typical Rolls-Royce fashion, offers the best materials assembled by experts of their craft.
The Lyrical Copper exterior paint as well as the golden copper interior features represent the copper used in the audio-centralised Wraith’s sound system. This includes the new copper interior speaker grilles with ‘Bespoke Audio’ engraving, as well as copper coloured door inserts and floor mats and door panniers which are made from finely-woven leather.
The music theme is present throughout this special model and of course Rolls-Royce have gone through painstaking lengths of detail to accentuate a premium and bespoke feel. The clock chaplets are crafted with a combination of silver and copper whilst the bezel represents a vinyl record, for example.
Two years of development by the best automotive audio engineers have gone into this sound system whilst interior designers would consult the Chief Audio Engineer in this pursuit of excellence. The setup includes an 18-channel, 1300W system with nine individual speakers.
The changes to the new Wraith are purely aesthetic and it will still by running the 6.6-litre V12 engine producing 624bhp meaning 0-62mph is dealt with in 4.4 seconds.
The Rolls-Royce Wraith ‘Inspired By Music’ will start from around £228,000.
