The Subaru BRZ and Toyota GT86 are both fantastic machines and represent everything us petrol heads have been craving for years. The well priced rear wheel drive sports cars have claimed many global awards. There are only really two short comings with the BRZ and GT86; they could do with a tad more power and the interior feels a bit spartan. Subaru’s new Premium Sports Edition aims to change the latter.

Only on offer in the Japanese market, the Subaru BRZ Premium Sports Edition receives a black and tanned leather interior garnished with Alcantara. Aluminium detailing has been added as well as a new set of pedals. Externally the door mirrors are now trimmed in carbon  and the car wears new 17 inch alloy wheels. In Japan this new model costs 3,034,500 Yen. Seeing how that converts to about £20,000 you soon see how much more money it costs to get a car into the UK with that being less than the standard car. There are no plans as of yet to offer the Premium Sports Edition outside of Japan.
