The Tokyo motor show is fast approaching and already manufacturers are beginning to show their goods. Some a little strange and others very logical, but all spark an interest. Suzuki is showing their vision of what a “next-gen” compact car should look like and in our eyes at least, the future appears to come from the past.
Upon first glance is does look like a futuristic Citroen DS but this obscurity is the Suzuki Regina Concept. Beyond its appearance the car claims it can achieve 75MPG on a regular basis thanks to its aerodynamic properties and lack of weight. In fact the car only comes to 730KG making it the motoring equivalent of a paper bag. Emissions are also a tiny 70g/km.
