Lamborghini Aventador Roadster Is Raging Bull At Its Best

The raging bull is the physical embodiment of automotive passion, adrenaline and style. Each car makes a statement to the world… “We are Lamborghini, we don’t do things like the others, take note.” Having long been the focal point of every child’s bedroom wall and every adults dreams, Lamborghini has ascertained a position in the market that makes them truly legendary. Today the Italians show the world what is sure to become a future classic.

This automotive sculpture you see before you is the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster. Breathtaking to look at with such aggression molded into every angle. It is a car with clear intent. Packing the same 690BHP 6.5 litre V12 engine as the coupe, the new machine features a two piece hard top that can be stowed in the boot. This is a welcome change from the unfathomable canvas top of the Murcielago. Performance is almost untouched from the standard car with 0-62MPH being done and dusted in just 3 seconds.

Set to cost just over £290,000+ taxes, the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 Roadster will arrive in showrooms next summer.

2013 Aston Martin DB9 Unveiled

The Aston Martin DB9 has been around for eight years now and though it is no less of a car than when it was new, we can’t wait to see what will replace it. Aston rolled out their all-new Vanquish earlier this year and so at the very least an updated DB9 was due. Making its debut at the Paris motor show this is the 2013 DB9.

Looks familiar doesn’t it? In essence this car is something of a greatest hits album. Not much is all-new but it takes all of the best bits from the DB9 lineage to produce what appears to be a machine of great value. It’s front fascia has been transplanted directly from the now absent Virage and the rear is almost identical to the discontinued DBS. The engine is the same 5.9 litre V12 we know and love but the power output is now 510BHP accompanied by 457lb-ft of torque. Pricing starts from £131,995 (including the now standard carbon brakes) making it £18,000 cheaper than the Virage that only sold just over 1,000 units despite offering all of this performance. 0-62 in the 2013 DB9 can be completed in 4.6 seconds and it will go onto a top speed of 183MPH.

Alonso and Massa Make Ferrari F12 Dance

To be a Formula One pilot it you must be such a high caliber of driver that you could literally drive the wheels off of anything. Be it a Lamborghini or a Lada, your performance should be at its best. So imagine what would happen if you gave such a person a weapon just as capable as they were. Something such as Ferrari’s new F12 Berlinetta?

Ferrari F1 drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa got the change to have some “playtime” with the latest prancing horse and lets just say, all 730 horses under the bonnet were put to good use. Drifting the cars within inches of each other around Fiorano is all in a days work for these guys. This is driving at its top level and you wont regret watching the video…

Aston Martin V12 Vantage Roadster Rages Onto The Tarmac

If you live in the UK you will be well used to the “British summer.” For those who don’t live in this merry land it consist of rain, the promise of the hottest summer ever, a week of unbearable heat, then flooding just add insult to injury. This erratic weather pattern that we share doesn’t really help those with a convertible. Well, Aston Martin demands that the rain clouds had better buck their ideas up!

It has been expected since 2009, but now 3 years through the biblical Aston Martin V12 Vantage’s lifecycle we get the Roadster. The coupe is still one of this best automotive inventions tarmac has ever seen, but the notion of hearing that thundering V12 minus the roof is very tempting. Power is generated by the same mighty 6.0 litre V12 as the standard car and packs 510BHP. 0-62MPH is done and dusted within 4.5 seconds and the V12 Vantage Roader’s top speed is a towering 190MPH. Costing £150,000 the new car also features revisions to its suspension, rear diffuser and throttle response.

Aston Martin VANQUISH Your Configurator Curiosities

Aston Martin has revealed its delectable new Vanquish that has absolutely captivated the media. The British V12 brute not only supplies 565BHP, but with looks that belong in an art gallery, it just exudes pure Aston Martin. We may not have £190,000 to spend on a Vanquish but Aston have allowed us some time to fantasize with their new configurator. Got some time to waste?

Colour on such a machine is an important choice and so after much deliberation we went for lightning silver. Next up was the carbon fibre detailing option, which of course we ticked… The crowning glory of our creation is its 20 spoke diamond turned graphite black rims. Try it out for yourself HERE.

2013 Aston Martin Vanquish Struts Its Stuff For The Camera

Isn’t it just a work of art? From the moment I saw the new Vanquish, in the early hours of the morning, I got very excited. An all-new V12 GT from Aston Martin wearing possible the coolest name ever giving to a machine? YES PLEASE! Effortlessly seductive, you could say that the Vanquish has already surpassed its DBS forefather in some respects. You can read the FULL STORY HERE or you may spend a little more time drooling over these new images for a little while longer.

New Aston Martin Vanquish is Your Licence to Kill

There are very few things on this planet than can leave you both shaken and stirred. Aston Martins are unique in their delivery of both beauty and soul. Seductively powerful and oh so charming in a manner only the British brand could pull off, each new car that dons the winged emblem has a tough act to follow. The Aston Martin DBS has done its duty and earned a place in Astons history, but it is time for a successor. A car just as bold, just as dramatic as that brilliant GT. Its name is the Vanquish.

Reviving the Vanquish nameplate, this V12 is both beauty and the beast. Aston Martin’s flagship One-77 supercar has clearly influenced the new designs heavily sculpted body and intricate interior, but what is hidden beneath its artwork is just as breathtaking. A 6.0 litre V12 pounds to the beat of 565BHP, with each of those horses surging the Vanquish to a top speed of 183MPH. On the way to that figure it will hit 62MPH in just 4.1 seconds. Available as a 2+2 or 2+0, this astonishing new machine is lighter, lower and faster than its predecessor.

The 2013 Aston Martin Vanquish can be yours for £190,000 early next year.

Aston Martin DBS Replacement To Be Named Vanquish

What’s in a name? Well, in the automotive industry a name means an awful lot as the collection of numbers and letters must be fitting for the product it is attached to. There are some very good ones out there; Veyron, Zonda, Carrera. Aston Martin are to revive one of their most evocative nameplates for the replacement to the much loved DBS.

VANQUISH. It has to be one of the all-time greats as it just sounds powerful and dramatic. The Original Vanquish was yet another brilliant Aston Martin (if you ignored the rather poor flappy-paddle gearbox) that brought both power and beauty. A production variant of Aston’s AM310 Concept has been spied wearing a Vanquish badge providing conclusive evidence of the cars official name. Expect to see the finished product later this year just in time for the British brands 100th anniversary next year.

Aston Martin DBS Ultimate Revealed

The Aston Martin DBS is a phenomenal car. Howling V12 up front, power sent to the rear and a low slung cockpit in between. We would go as far as to say that it is the best GT car in the world. These days it is 007’s weapon of choice making it even more sort after than it would be alone. Alas, the end is near for the DBS. Later this year we will see for the first time its replacement, but don’t go thinking the DBS will simply fade into the pages of history. Aston are giving it one final moment in the spotlight.

This is the Aston Martin DBS Ultimate and being the last of its kind the British brand have gone all out. The interior has diamond quilt stitching with contrasting thread, carbon fibre garnishes the diffuser and rear lights, the artillery pieces that make up the exhausts are now coated, and the callipers come in an array of colours. The key thing about this model is the attention to detail. Just enough to define this amazing machine in its best light. The Aston Martin DBS Ultimate is available in both coupe and volante formats.
