Toyota’s Chief Test Driver Dies behind the Wheel of an LF-A

SHARE

Breaking news: German reports have been saying that Toyota’s chief test driver has died in a crash on the 410 near the Nürburgring after veering off into oncoming traffic and colliding with a car coming in the opposite direction. The two occupants of the oncoming car both survived but the test driver in the LF-A sadly did not.

It is believed the driver of the limited edition LF-A was Hiromu Naruse, an integral part of the LF-A project and also Akio Toyoda’s personal driver. No other details on causes of the accident as yet though judging by the extent of the damage it looks as if the impact was at high speed. There are no eyewitness accounts of the crash other than the two survivors who are said to be in a life threatening condition.

Our condolences to the family and friends of Mr Naruse.
