The electric car has taken its first bold steps out and onto the mass market leaving designers waiting with baited breath to see if their creation is a success. Slowly it appears that the new method of motion is being adopted and hence why so many manufacturers are looking into electric drive. The biggest hurdle to overcome for customers is their cost.
As these technologies are new some electric cars cost above and beyond, but Vauxhalls new concept car hopes to change that. This two seater EV has a 60 mile range and a top speed of 75MPH. Looking like something out of iRobot is all part of its design-brief to entice younger people to go electric. The construction has also had cost saving in mind for drivers on a tight budget.
