These days if you want to win in the ruff and tumble of rallying you use a Citroen. In the same way that if you wanted to win at Le Mans you would choose either Peugeot or Audi, other choices are just illogical. The French team have dominated the WRC year on year almost without interruption. However their weapon of choice, the C4, has been replaced and the funky DS3 has taken its place. Today it has proven itself every bit as successful.
Sebastien Loeb and Daniel Elena have remained unbeaten in the Mexican leg of the WRC for 5 years and now that number is 6 as the DS3 claims its first victory. The hothatch jumped, slid and growled to victory showing the same potential as its predecessor. In fact the car finished 1 minute 30 seconds ahead of the following entrant further affirming Citroens position as rally kings.
