I guess we shouldn’t be suppressed by the automotive industry when it churns out the unexpected anymore. Audi, making a supercar? Ha ha ha, whatever next, a V10 Lexus? But this all came true and even more unbelievably both are fantastic cars despite their manufacturers having next to no experience in this segment of the market. The Lexus LF-A today proved to the world that there was room for a £330,000 hyper car in their line-up by selling every single one of the allotted 500.
The Lexus LF-A is armed with a front mounted V10 engine that produces 552BHP, that is enough to get this wondrous machine to 60MPH in 3.6 seconds. The car is constructed with vast amounts of carbon fibre to ensure weight is kept to a minimum and of course it is loaded with the latest technology to ensure that any drive can push this car to its limits. The only perceived flaw is this cars colossal price, but as seen today at least 500 of the world’s rich and famous are willing to line Lexus’ pockets. Just a kick in the teeth that the company lose money on every one that rolls off the production line.
