Car manufacturers have been trying very hard over the past few years to entice younger buyers into the showroom. Funky designs, customisation and bright colours can been seen in many brands options lists. It would appear being unique is what gets university students and the like interested in new cars. Vauxhalls little supermini, the Adam, is up against some very strong competition such as the Fiat 500, but their new model might just be interesting enough to steal some sales.
This is the Vauxhall Adam Rocks, a jacked up variation of the supermini. Inspired by a previous concept car of the same name, the Adam Rocks will now go into production along with Vauxhall’s new 1.0 litre engine. This car sits 15mm higher than the standard model and offers a retractable fabric roof that can transform the car in just 5 seconds. Contrasting trim gives the Rocks a more rugged appearance. Two other engines, a 1.2 litre and 1.4 litre, will be available when the Vauxhall Adam Rocks goes on sale this summer.
