The Lamborghini Gallardo is coming to the end of its production life and to be honest, it has had a good run. The baby bull is the Italian companies best ever selling car and has spawned many derivatives. In 2014 we should see this cars successor, however, for the time being Lamborghini are giving the Gallardo one of its last hurrahs before it dives off into the sunset.

This is the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse, a car inspired by the machine that competes in the brands one make race series, the Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo. The road legal Squadra Corse produces 562BHP from a naturally aspirated V10. With such a weapon under the bonnet this Gallardo will sprint from 0-62MPH in just 3.4 seconds or 0-124MPH in 10.4. The top speed is 199MPH and to make sure you can bring this racing inspired package to a stop again, carbon brakes come as standard. Lamborghini say that this cars rear wing produces three times the downforce than that of the standard car. Carbonfibre has been used extensively both inside and out resulting in a weight saving of 70KG.
