All-New Volvo XC90 Revealed

The Volvo XC90 became the leader of the pack when it was introduced back in 2003. This SUV not only looked the business but did the business also. Cutting edge safety technology and a capable all wheel drive system made the seven seater ideal for almost any situation. Fast forward to today and the 4×4 has some very stiff competition. Can this all-new Volvo XC90 regain the advantage the original had over key rivals?

Revealed in full for the first time, this is the all-new Volvo XC90. Debuting the brands new design direction, this highly executive SUV has a clean and modern architecture. “Thor’s hammer” headlights and a vertical bar grill sets the tone for this premium product.

The interior is highly sophisticated and features a large portrait touchscreen display. Volvo claims that the sound system in the XC90 is the first to use an air ventilated subwoofer in a car. Again seating seven, the cabin is light and airy.

This all-new Volvo XC90 will have a range of engines on offer, but the top of the range T8 model is particularly interesting. It is powered by a 2.0 litre four cylinder turbo and supercharged petrol engine powering the front wheels, as well as an 80BHP electric motor powering the rear.

The all-new Volvo XC90 goes on sale next year.
