So it’s only naturally that Citroen want to bond this cars road success with the companies international WRC domination. In 2007, 2008 and 2009 the winner of every championship was driving a Citroen WRC car and this year it’s looking increasingly likely it will be the same result. Putting the DS3 into rallying will give the relaunched name plate some pedigree and cast the media’s attention in its direction.
