Hatchback sales are all important to mainstream European car manufacturers. Family days out, general commuting and dashes to the supermarket often involve a hatchback making the market huge for such a car. The only problem is that competition is at its very best with all brands producing highly competent and ever more premium products. The Skoda Fabia is starting to show its age a bit now and so here we have the 2015 Skoda Fabia to take on the likes of Ford, VW, Renault and Vauxhall.
Set to make its debut at the Paris motor show in October, this all-new Skoda Fabia sits on the same platform as the latest Volkswagen Polo. Sporting a new edgy design, this incarnation looks very smart with a neat grill and sharp character lines. Whilst full details are still unknown, it has been brought to light that the most frugal 1.0 litre petrol engine can achieve 91MPG.Interior space is also expected to be amongst the best in this class. The 2015 Skoda Fabia is both lower and wider than the outgoing model that has spanned seven years.
Sales are to being early in 2015 but it is said there will be no vRS performance model planned.
