Corvette Stingray Convertible Is Alfresco Muscle

When Corevette launched their new model people were in awe for two reasons. Firstly, the Stingray name of legend had been revived complete with futuristic logo. Secondly, this Corvette looks to have what it takes to really take on the best of Europe. It matures the car from pure US muscle into a potentially class leading sports car. Now you can have one as a convertible.

The Corvette Stingray Convertible changes very little from its handsome coupe counterpart. Originally designed as a drop-top, the roof actually holds no reference to structural regality resulting in a convertible that needs next to no reinforcement. Powered by the same 6.2 litre V8 with 450BHP and 450lb-ft of torque, you can now enjoy the sound of that performance when the electrically retractable fabric roof is down. Also whilst in alfresco mode you can show of that fantastically redesigned interior to the rest of the world. Chevy say they will import the new Stingray to the UK, however, in left hand drive only.
