To celebrate Singapore’s 50 years of independence this year, Ferrari have decided to create a special edition F12 Berlinetta to make the occasion. The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta SG50 edition was ordered by Ital Auto, the Ferrari Southeast Asian importer.
Changes over the standard F12 Berlinetta primarily consists of a red and white livery which mimics both the country’s flag and the Scuderia colours The custom red shade covers the bodywork and is called ‘Rosso Singapore’, there is also Bianco Italia racing stripes, front spoiler, rear diffuser, side sills, wheels and wing mirrors.
Mechanically identical to the standard car, its V12 heart pack 760BHP. 0-62MPH takes just 3.1 seconds and it will go onto a top speed of 211MPH.
The interior of this one-off model consists of a range of leather and other quality materials, supportive seats and the typical Ferrari racing wheel at the bottom of which reads “Singapore 50th Anniversary Edition 1/1” – the same message is also found on the sill plates.
The F12 Berlinetta SG50 is a superb looking car in it’s new red colour way and white accents, it really is a sight to behold. This special edition model will go to Singapore and likely be sold to a very lucky owner for an unannounced sum.
