Mercedes-Benz Reveals E-Class Coupe and Convertible

Mercedes-Benz have always been locked in an internal battle with German rivals Audi and BMW. All clawing for their place at the top of the luxury car market, competition is fierce. But out of competition often comes fantastic products and over the years Mercedes has grown its range with them. Two new additions to the line-up have been announced for 2013.

The recently revised E-Class saloon and estate have now been joined by the 2013 Coupe and Convertible variations. Much like the other facelifted E-Class, these two also lack the models once distinctive quad headlights. Externally the cars sport new front and rear bumpers that suit the sportier nature of these luxury machines. The engine range remains the same as the E-Class saloon and estate but with the addition of the Germans four cylinder BlueDIRECT unit. Also new for 2013 in these cars an “Active lane keeping assist” that maintains the cars course in a lane if the driver began to stray from it.
