What is better than a flashy car that goes around screaming about its performance capabilities to anyone that gives it a passing glance? The answer is one that doesn’t. Sometimes the attention is unwanted and that is why I’m a big fan of “sleeper cars.” These machines are subtle but oh so very capable, those being the perfect words to describe the new Volvo V60 Polestar.

Don’t you just love that blue?! This wolf in sheep’s clothing is the V60 Polestar, an estate car that could teach many sports cars a thing or two. Powered by a turbocharged 3.0 litre engine that produces 345BHP, this Polestar will get five passengers and the dog from 0-62MPH in just 4.9 seconds. That acceleration is due to 369lb ft of torque and a new launch control system. Volvo says that the V60 will have a limited top speed of 155MPH when it goes on sale in June.
